Welcome to our newsletter! |
| Fellow passionate golf travelers, welcome!
There is so much to be excited about since our last communication sent on April 9, 2025 and we couldn’t be more proud to share our latest developments here at CHASEGOLF. It has been a busy couple of months for us balancing new requests, bookings, clients’ onboarding, trip preparedness, but also, networking combined with extensive travels throughout Europe.
In this newsletter, we share about our attendance to the IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) pre-fam trip and European Convention held in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, followed by a recognition trip to Fuerteventura, also in the Canary Islands. During this month-long European trip, we’ve also visited Lacanau International Golf Club and Cabot Bordeaux. Our first reviews are in and we couldn’t wait until the activation of our professional google account (soon available) to share them with you. Lastly, we chat about our latest content creations destined to our clients and our destination of the month: F.R.A.N.C.E If you have not considered this destination before, now is the perfect time to think about one of the greatest golf adventures there is in Europe.
Vive Paris and Vive La France! |
| CHASEGOLF attends the IAGTO IEC in Gran Canaria, Spain |
|
| Our team was delighted to attend a pre-fam trip from May 15-18, the IAGTO Golf Competition on Monday, May 19 and the 3rd edition of the European Convention held May 20-21, reuniting a total of 800 golf tour operators and suppliers across all 5 continents. We’ve spent a wonderful week here in Maspalomas Gran Canaria connecting with our preferred and new suppliers, learning about new golf courses, hotels, and upcoming golf destinations across Europe.
Our fam trip (we were in Group B 🎉) was extraordinary from start to finish, playing immaculate golf courses, exploring and dining in Gran Canaria most authentic and charming places. We were lucky to play 4 of the best golf courses on the island during the fam trip and competition: …followed by an extra round at the oldest golf course in Spain, Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas, dating back to 1891.
We also got the chance to explore off-the-beaten path and adventured in the traditional fishing village of Port Mogán, we visited the Maspalomas Dunes Nature Reserve, and we discovered the Risco Caído and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by a nice and fresh evening at an elevated winery. We played the IAGTO golf competition at Anfi Tauro, definitely the most scenic and challenging course on the island, a masterpiece designed by Von Hagge in 2006.
Overall, we had a total of 56 formal and informal meetings during the packed-convention and we simply can’t wait to explore these new opportunities to elevate our portfolio of services. New destinations on the horizon include the Canary Islands (Spain), Madeira (Portugal), Austria, Denmark, Finland and potentially, Sweden where quality golf courses can be found in this part of Europe.
Lastly, CHASEGOLF was rewarded with a magnum of Canard Duchene (shared with our old and new friends during the final cocktail party), for our efforts promoting France as a golf destination.
A huge thank you to Peter Walton and the IAGTO team for organizing such a fantastic and flawless event – our team is grateful to be part of such a professional reputed organization and we look forward to joining several other fam trips and conventions in the future, starting with the one in Northern Ireland later this year in October. |

| …with an additional recognition trip to Fuerteventura, Spain |
| Following the IAGTO IEC in Gran Canaria, we took a short 45-minute flight and landed in Fuerteventura for a week of golf and adventure in the southern part of this wild volcanic island.
While we are actively planning several golf trips throughout Europe this summer and in the fall, we played a round at Jandia GC, we bathed at one of the most gorgeous sand bars in Europe, we visited the Natural Parque de Jandia, and explored Playa de Cofete on an off-road trip, we rode on camels, we explored the Ajuy caves and lastly, we sailed around the southern tip of Moro Jable. |

| With 350+ days of sunshine a year, the Canary Islands boast a variety of surprising landscapes, a rich culture centered around gastronomy, beaches and volcano exploration as well as quality, challenging golf courses carved in the cliffs making it a perfect winter destination for a golf trip in Europe.
This magical fam trip matched our expectations and aligns with our goals, mission and purpose to design the most unique, remote and off-the-beaten path tailor-made golf vacations in Europe. |

| Lastly, our month-long European trip ended today with a site inspection of Cabot Bordeaux, France |
| Today, Tuesday June 10th, 2025, we revisited the former Golf du Médoc and newly rebranded Cabot Bordeaux with our friend Louise Gateau, Head of Tour Operator Relationship and Commercial Departments. Situated just 35 minutes away from our home town in France, Cabot Bordeaux is a special in our hearts and is considered our home club in France. We share below some pictures of their rooms and a few of the golf holes we played this morning. |

| “Fanny, you are such a pleasure to work with and I am really glad we found you. We’ve learned that they are so many details that are best arranged by a travel professional! Moving forward, we would like you to book our next trip! We will also pass your information along to Lenny’s former co-worker, Dina. They love golf and they love to travel, and since they both retired, we think they would love to explore one of your trips!” – Penny.B |

| “Fanny, our trip to Normandy, France was great and we had the best time! The golf was fantastic (I liked them all – Dinard, Granville, Deauville, Etretat, and Chantilly), beautiful, spacious, challenging and fun, no crowds, welcoming. We enjoyed lots of seafood, having oysters and seafood towers daily and lots more”. Marie.G |
