Budapest, a new emerging golf
destination
Discover the best golf & sightseeing destinations in Hungary
If Budapest on a golf trip sounds interesting, we invite you to read more. Hungary has become a newer emerging destination these past few years with the arrival of the brand new Zala Springs Health & Golf Resort, the first golf resort in the country, situated near Balaton Lake. There are 7 golf courses all together in Hungary: Zala Springs Health & Golf Resort, BOTANIQ Máriavölgy Golf Club, Balaton Golf Club, Old Lake Golf Club, Magyar Golf Club, Birdland Golf & Country Club and, Hencse National Golf & Country Club.
If you are an avid golfer who has been dreaming of exploring Europe’s Imperial Capitals, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest, this is your chance to combine all 3 destinations and play golf along the way. While some of you may think about the convenience of a golf cruise, there is still a need for reliable, professional extensive land arrangements to be organized to reach the top courses and best sights. And, this is exactly why we are here for. Explore Central Europe through, the adventure of a lifetime awaits!

Budapest & the Balaton Lake District
While the crowds head to Portugal or Spain, Hungary offers something different: uncrowded, well-maintained courses at a fraction of the price, wrapped around a country famous for something golfers will genuinely appreciate after 18 holes, its legendary thermal spas. Few destinations let you finish your round and soak your legs in a centuries-old thermal bath the same afternoon.
Opened in 2015 and designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. the par 72 championship course at Zala Springs Golf Resort is the top ranked golf course in the country, followed by BOTANIQ, Hencse National and Balaton Golf Club. The region is famous for water activities, such as sailing, on Lake Balaton but also for its excellent wineries and historic villages with cobbled streets, thatched-roof houses, and century-old Benedictine monasteries like the one in Tihany, dating back to 1055. Add in Budapest, one of Europe’s most beautiful and walkable capital cities, and you’ve got a trip that works just as well for golf purists as it does for golf-plus-culture travelers or couples where only one of you plays.
It’s a destination that rewards people looking for something a little different, good golf, real value, and a country that surprises people who didn’t expect much from it.
