Designed by the legendary Dr. Martin Hawtree, the MacLeod Course boasts dramatic dunes, rugged cliffs, and multiple blind shots offering both breathtaking vistas and a stern challenge to even the most seasoned golfer. The Trump organization has already claimed the site to become the “greatest 36 holes in golf” and promised to deliver an exceptional golfing experience to visitors.

Although Cabot Highlands is a destination on its own, the surrounding area is filled with historic sites, castles, and lovely vistas. Make sure to visit the nearby Culloden Battlefield Site, Clava Cairns, the whisky distilleries, Inverness and Loch Ness and if you continue your trip up north to play Royal Dornoch, Tain, Brora or Golpsie, a day to the Duncansby Stacks if a must for non-golfers.

⛳️ Limassol Greens by Cabell Robinson, Cyprus (Fall 2025)
Cabell Robinson is a well-known name in European golf course architecture and he can be introduced as Robert Trent Jones right-hand man in Continental Europe. While his most prominent works can be found in Costa Del Sol, Spain (La Reserva, Finca Cortesin and Las Colinas); he also designed some of the greatest courses in France, Portugal, Italy and Switzerland.
Set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean landscape offering breathtaking views of the Akrotiri Salt Lake, Cabell recently designed a new 18-hole Championship Course at Limassol Greens in Cyprus. The course is set to open in the Summer/Fall 2025 and features opulent Bermuda grass, generous fairways, surging greens and astonishing pot bunkers to enthral every golf aficionado. Much of the course has been designed to mirror the nearby sandy dunes of Lady’s Mile, while holes 5 and 6, set in a natural wetland, offer scenic views of the bordering Forest. It is a truly staggering course designed for an unforgettable all-year-round golf experience.
⛳️ The South Course at Monte Rei Golf & Country Club by Jack Nicklaus, Portugal (TBD)
Considered by most as the leading course in Portugal, Monte-Rei Golf & Country Club is an absolute dream come true for golfers visiting the Algarve. The club has recently started the construction of a second course, another Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, with plans to open a luxury 65-room suite-only hotel & spa along with luxury residences. With construction on the way, the second Jack Nicklaus Signature Course will provide a new challenge for all golfers. Whilst situated on land that is very similar to the North Course, it will have a different look and feel to ensure variety between the two courses. The bunkering will provide for smaller more strategic areas of sand, and there will be less use of water around the holes.
Recently acquired by the British-funded Arrow Global Group (January 17, 2025), Monte-Rei will now become part of an extended portfolio of proterties; among them the Anantara Vilamoura Resort and Palmares Ocean Living and Golf.

⛳️ Ponta do Pargo by Faldo Design, Madeira Portugal (July 2026)
Perched dramatically on the cliffs of the westernmost point of Madeira with over 600 feet of elevation change, Ponta do Pargo is among the most exciting new golf course projects in Europe. Designed by 6-time major champion Nick Faldo and his team, the site is unlike any other location in Europe with unrivalled natural beauty surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. In addition to the 18-hole golf course, Ponta da Pargo will also feature practice facilities including a driving range and chipping and putting green; a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course; a clubhouse, restaurant and hotel when fully completed. Originally designed in 2007, Sir Nick and his design team updated the routing and design in 2023 to address changes in the game and to improve the course’s sustainability value. The project is due to open in 2026.
We can’t wait to showcase Madeira as a future destination in our portfolio and for passionate golfers to experience the “Hawaïi of Europe” on an epic CHASEGOLF trip.

⛳️ Curracloe Links by Dana Fry and Jason Straka, Ireland (2027)
Irish Links are calling! And this one will be a beauty, there is no doubt about it. Located less than 2 hours from Dublin and 1 hour South from the European Club, Curracloe Links is another project we are contemplating with great enthusiasm. Adjacent to Curracloe Beach, which is regularly voted “Best Beach in Ireland” by the readers of The Irish Independent, Curracloe Links is the heart of the newly developed Ravenport Resort opened in the Spring of 2024 and managed by the Neville Hotel Group, owners of the Druids Glen and Golf Resort and several other establisments in Ireland.
“Sandy wasteland. Firm, turf that propels your shot forward as you work to keep it under the wind. Greens that fit naturally with the fascinating landscape, compelling you to try to solve their mysteries. A course unlike anything Ireland has seen before. That’s what the design team of Fry/Straka have in mind for Curracloe, which will be true to the history of the game in Ireland, with intriguing flourishes from the imagination of two of golf’s brightest minds”.
⛳️ La Maviglia Resort Championship Course by Städler & Reinmuth Golfdesign, Puglia, Italy (2027)
Who knew the Province of Taranto in Puglia, Southern Italy, could be a future hidden gem destination of Italy…? Situated on the opposite corner of the most developed area of Puglia, La Maviglia is an upcoming luxury resort set to open in 2027 and will feature a 20-room boutique hotel, 70 individual suites, 35 villas, 4 restaurants, 5,000-square-metre wellness and medical spa, and a championship course designed by Städler & Reinmuth Golf Design. Christoph Städler recently shared withGolf Course architecture journal: “The golf course will integrate countless cultural sites dating back to the 16th and 18th centuries, in particular numerous trulli – traditional Apulian dry stone huts – which can be found everywhere on the resort grounds and come into play visually and strategically on numerous holes. The landscape is also characterized by countless century-old olive and fig trees, dune landscapes and by the macchia – the typical Mediterranean scrub.”
Our team will monitor closely this new development and because “Italy is always a good idea”, we can’t wait to create amazing golf trips to this part of Europe!

⛳️ Sparben Golf Resort by Colin Montgomerie and Jean Van De Velde, France (TBD)
Still in the planning phase…but another development we are very excited about is the Sparben Golf Resort in Tosse, in the South West of France. Since the announcement back in 2018, our team has been anxiously waiting for this new 45-hole project near Biarritz to come alive. We have visited the area on several occasions, and the land here is absolutely pristine for golf as It stands on sandy soil with undulated terrain meandering among historic pine forests. For us, a course here could easily rank among the top European golf courses, with the same look and feel as the David McLay-Kidd Dunes Courses in Comporta, Portugal.
