Quaint and characterful with traditional art pieces and murals, the reception leads to the central piece of the main building, a beautiful Andalusian cloister stylishly renovated with a luxurious lounge, allowing guests to sit back and relax peacefully. Much like a secret architectural gem, this remarkable oasis is an open invitation to wonder, serendipity and unlimited inspiration.
The sumptuous Blue Bar and the Mediterranean-style restaurant El Jardin de Lutz can also be found in the main building adjoining the cloister. Again here, the decor is absolutely breathtaking, almost as if you were in a movie and this feeling never truly leaves you during your stay at La Finca Cortesin. There, you will taste delicious gourmet Spanish specialties and enjoy a wide variety of drinks and cocktails. If you pursue the visit, there is a second patio with lush gardens, a water fountain, outdoor terrace and fancy Moroccan and Indian-style lounges to gather.
Spacious and sophisticated, the 67 suites at La Finca are bright and well-equipped with all the modern amenities needed; some boast a private terrace with or without sea and pool view. During our visit, we also took a memorable golf cart tour and witnessed one of the greatest Cabell Robinson’s masterpieces there is. From tee to green, each of the 18 holes were in excellent conditions and showcased an exceptionally challenging and dramatic course well-integrated into the Andalusian landscape. Our favorite holes were 10, 13 and 17 (pictured below) from a design standpoint.

Along with our experience at La Finca Cortesin, we adventured the narrow streets of Casares, one of the prettiest Pueblos Blancos in Costa del Sol. There, you can take a leisure walk in the charming alleys and hike to the castle for a fantastic view of the surrounding Sierra Bermeja.
